ABOUT

Strassner, Strelow & Smith, LLC was founded in mid-2010 by three long-time friends and professional colleagues who have spent much of their distinguished careers – in law practice, corporate officer positions and a senior government post – resolving disputes. They have done this both as advocates and as neutrals – as decision makers or as facilitators.

As they left their corporate work, each decided to devote much of their very “semi” retirement time to focusing on alternative dispute resolution (ADR).  Each is a passionate believer that this privatized alternative to the governmental justice system is deservedly gaining increasing use and recognition. And each believes that their extensive business world executive experience enables them to help parties reach practical and fair resolutions of disputes that are entirely or partially commercial in nature.

Ken Strassner, Roger Strelow and Bud Smith have extensive experience in officer-level management of environmental, energy and safety matters in major companies such as Kimberly-Clark, GE, Bechtel and Union Carbide. But their business experience extends well beyond this common theme into related matters such as general law practice, customer-supplier contracts, insurance, human resources, finances, engineering/construction services and other areas. Government experience has been at the Presidential appointee level.

Ken, Roger and Bud are ready and eager to help those with disputes or potential disputes to avoid or resolve them fairly, economically and expeditiously.
